Book is in excellent condition, but cover has some form of soiling, similar to a rust stain. The covers are leather or leatherette, so it may be a simple effort to remove these marks. Spine and pages excellent, some shelf wear at spine edges, gilt lettering excellent. Pencil marks throughout table of contents but nowhere else apparently.
