Description: Everyone struggles with money at some point in their lives. Sometimes the problems run so deep that people mistakenly believe that "Money is the root of all evil." Nothing could be further from the truth. The love of money, however, is the root of all evil. The authors wrote this book with three purposes in mind: € To provide an understanding of money and its value as a medium for exchanging time and energy between individuals. € To equip the reader with tools to get out of debt, build a nest egg and operate a realistic budget with its roots in faith toward God. € To provide a spiritual and philosophical basis for achieving true financial freedom. The book closes with advice that is three centuries old. John Wesley wrote, "Get all you can. Save all you can. Give all you can." Wesley was describing the life of a fruitful Christian who lives under God's blessing and in turn blesses the lives of others. These are the people who always have their needs met. They are also the ones who have positioned themselves as a profitable channel of God's grace toward others. In the final analysis, true financial freedom is measured to a greater degree by our heart attitudes than by the balance in our bank accounts. About the Author Ralph Moore is senior pastor of Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii and founder of the Hope Chapel in Hermosa Beach, California. The Hope Chapel movement has planted more than 200 churches around the world. Pastor Moore travels extensively, providing church leaders with biblical tools for spreading the gospel and planting churches. He and his wife, Ruby, have two married children, Carl and Kelly. Both are involved in ministry. Alan Tang is a certified financial counselor and marketing businessman who gives financial counseling as a volunteer ministry in Ralph Moore's church in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. When Moore finds himself helping people out of extreme financial difficulties, he refers them to Alan and his team.
